Laasya VallabhaneniLaasya Vallabhaneni is a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with minors in Biochemistry, Public Policy and Studio Art. She plans on pursuing medical school while entering a dual MPH or MPP program to learn about healthcare policy and global health. Her interests lie in health and well-being of underrepresented groups, working towards equitable healthcare for all populations. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and painting and hanging out with friends.

Amal AltarebAmal Altareb is a junior at Yale College from Memphis, TN. She majors in interdisciplinary Political Science and Modern Middle Eastern Studies and is a Human Rights Scholar at the Schell Center for International Human Rights. As a Yemeni-American, she is particularly interested in human rights violations, their aftermath, and transitional justice and reconciliation in Yemen, the Middle East, and the world in general. She is the president of the Middle Eastern and North African Students Association and the coordinator of the advocacy group Students for Yemen on campus. She is a board member of a humanitarian aid NGO, Yemen Aid Inc. She enjoys sleep, listening to music in different languages and finding high places to watch sunsets.

Kei McHaleKei McHale is a senior at the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Political Economy, with a concentration in Global Health and Development, and double minoring in Arabic and Global Public Health. She is passionate about advocating for the human rights of refugees and other displaced persons, and hopes to do her part in alleviating the global impacts of violent conflict on public health by engaging in effective research and direct services. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running, watching crime-thrillers, and learning languages.

Zara NadeemZara Nadeem is a sophomore at CUNY Hunter College in NYC, in the Yalow Honors Scholar Program for pre-medicine and research. She is majoring in biology, minoring in political science, and on the premedical track. At the moment, she is working towards an MD/MPH and hopes to expand her work in the public health field to advocate for issues to help underserved communities. Zara aspires to be an internal medicine physician, specializing in cardiology and/or oncology. She loves working with cancer patients, conducting clinical research targeting cardiac issues in women, while helping out minority communities with free heart screenings. Zara is very passionate and dedicated about medicine, research, and mentoring. Lastly, she is excited to be a part of the 3SistersFoundation's initiative to help advocate for humanitarian aid in Middle Eastern countries like Yemen!

Claire MercerClaire is a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Geography + Spatial Analysis. She is currently based in Cleveland, OH where she works as a Proposal Coordinator at an aerial mapping firm. Claire spends most of her time out of the office volunteering as a graphic designer for COVID Can I Do It (covidcanidoit.com) and is looking forward to supporting the 3 Sisters Foundation as well. She is passionate about playing board games, learning Arabic, honing her design skills, and traveling the world!
