Layla Al-Zubi graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2020 with a Bachelors of Arts in Writing Seminars and a minor in Islamic Studies. She was the recipient of the prestigious NIH Research Fellowship to the National Center for Advancing Translational Science to train under Early Translation Branch Director Dr. Matt Hall. At the NIH, she is part of a select cohort in the NIH Health Disparities Academy, where she will be focusing on Muslim Maternal Healthcare.
